01. PART 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1 About us and how to contact us

The website at spawnzone.org (the “Platform”) is owned and run by SYNVEX LTD (“spawnzone.org”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated in England and Wales. Our details are as follows:

1.2 Defined terms

In these Terms, the following words have the meanings given below:

1. “Terms” means these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time under clause 1.6;
2. “Item” means any skin or other virtual in-game item that is offered, bought or sold through the Platform;
3. “Trade Link” means the Steam trade URL (or the equivalent identifier on another supported platform) that you give us so that Items can be transferred to you;
4. “Payment Provider” means an authorised third-party payment service provider whose services are integrated into the Platform;
5. “you” means the individual using the Platform and, where clause 2.1 applies, the organisation on whose behalf that individual acts.

1.3 What the Platform does

spawnzone.org is an online trading venue for virtual gaming items such as skins. Items change hands by way of Steam trade offers or through any other platform that we support from time to time.

We do not create, host or alter any Item. Our role is limited to making the resale of Items possible and arranging for them to be delivered.

1.4 Complaints

Complaints should be sent by email to info@spawnzone.org. Our target is to settle each complaint within 14 business days.

Consumers in the EU or the UK may also make use of the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. See Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, available on EUR-Lex.

1.5 Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be decided by the courts of England and Wales.

1.6 Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Where a change is significant, you will be informed of it no less than seven (7) days before it comes into force. If you go on using the Platform after that date, you will be treated as having accepted the updated version.

02. PART 2. USERS AND ACCOUNTS

2.1 Who may use the Platform

Only people who are 18 or older, or who have reached the age of majority under the law of the country where they live, may access the Platform and make purchases on it.

Each time you use our services, you represent that you are fully capable in law of making contracts that bind you. If you act for a company or another organisation, you further represent that you are authorised to commit that organisation to these Terms.

2.2 Registering an account

Placing orders and using some features may require you to open an account. The information you give us must be true, accurate, up to date and complete, and you must correct it whenever it changes.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that is done through your account.

2.3 Things you must not do

While using the Platform, you must not:

1. use it for any unlawful purpose;
2. give us information that is untrue or misleading;
3. disrupt, or attempt to compromise, the security or functioning of the Platform;
4. access or use it through bots, scrapers or any other automated tools;
5. commit fraud or use any means of payment you are not entitled to use;
6. resell or redistribute Items unless you have our permission to do so.

2.4 Your personal data

SYNVEX LTD is the data controller of your personal data for the purposes of the UK GDPR. We process that data to administer accounts, to prevent fraud and to comply with the law.

You are entitled to request access to your personal data and to have it corrected or erased, or its processing restricted. Any privacy question can be sent to info@spawnzone.org.

2.5 Suspension and termination

Your account, or your access to the Platform, may be suspended or closed by us at any time where it is connected with fraud or abuse, where you breach these Terms or where you engage in harmful activity.

03. PART 3. PAYMENTS

3.1 How money is handled

Every payment and every payout on the Platform is processed securely by Payment Providers. SYNVEX LTD is not a bank, a payment institution or any other kind of financial institution: it does not offer payment services, does not hold customers’ money and does not carry out know-your-customer (KYC) checks on customers.

3.2 Prices and checkout

Prices on the Platform are shown in euros (€) or pounds sterling (£) and may be altered without prior notice.

Submitting an order commits you to pay the full sum shown at checkout, including any taxes and fees that apply. The means of payment available to you (for example, credit or debit card, PayPal or other gateways) are set out at checkout.

04. PART 4. SELLING ITEMS

This Part applies to you whenever you list Items for sale on the Platform. By listing an Item, you accept the conditions below.

4.1 Listing requirements

Every Item must be listed in the category that correctly describes it. Listings are checked by us before they are approved.

4.2 Keeping Items available

An Item stays in your own inventory until it is sold. Throughout that time, you must make sure that it remains available for trading.

4.3 Our commission

A fee of 10% is charged on every sale that is successfully completed.

4.4 Withdrawing your earnings

To receive payment, your account must contain valid payout information. Payouts are processed by Payment Providers in line with clause 3.1.

A single payout request must be for no less than €10 and no more than €5,000. A request for any amount outside that range will not be processed.

4.5 Holding back payouts

Where we identify a fraud, risk or regulatory concern, we may withhold a payout or postpone it.

05. PART 5. BUYING ITEMS

5.1 Orders we may decline

We may, at our own discretion, decline or cancel any order – for instance, where we suspect fraud or where an Item has been shown at an incorrect price.

5.2 Transfer of Items to you

As soon as your payment is confirmed, the Item or Items you have chosen will be sent to the Steam account connected to your profile by means of a trade offer to your Trade Link, or by another supported method. Delivery normally takes a few minutes, though it can take up to several hours.

It is your responsibility to supply a correct, working Trade Link and to make sure that your Steam account is able to trade.

5.3 When delivery fails

We are not liable where delivery fails because your Trade Link is invalid, your inventory is restricted or for any other reason on your side.

If a technical problem means that an Item has not reached you within 24 hours, you may ask us either to refund you in full or to deliver it by another route, without any extra charge.

5.4 Cancelling an order and your statutory cancellation right

An order can be cancelled only up to the point at which payment for it is processed.

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 normally give consumers a 14-day period to cancel a purchase. That right does not apply where digital content is supplied straight after payment. Confirming an order for digital Items that are delivered immediately amounts to your express agreement to waive that statutory cancellation right.

In all cases, we act in accordance with the consumer protection legislation that applies to us.

06. PART 6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND THIRD PARTIES

6.1 Our materials

The materials that make up the Platform, including logos, text, images and software code, belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may not reproduce, adapt or share any of them without our written consent.

6.2 Valve and other brands

Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Dota 2 and the assets connected with them are the property of Valve Corporation, and we make no claim to own them. spawnzone.org has no affiliation with Valve Corporation or any of its affiliates, and is neither endorsed nor sponsored by them. Every trademark referred to on the Platform belongs to its respective owner.

6.3 External websites

The Platform may contain links to websites run by third parties. We have no responsibility for the content, policies or services of those websites.

6.4 Restrictions imposed by other platforms

Any restriction placed on you by a third-party platform, such as a Steam ban or a trade limit, falls outside our responsibility.

07. PART 7. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

7.1 Availability of the service

We work to keep the Platform dependable, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free from errors.

7.2 Limits on our liability

No provision of these Terms excludes or restricts our liability for death or personal injury, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, spawnzone.org is not liable for:

1. any indirect or consequential loss connected with your use of the Platform; or
2. any direct loss, such as loss of data or loss of profit.

7.3 Your indemnity

You will compensate spawnzone.org, together with its owners, staff and partners, and keep them protected against any claim or loss arising out of how you use our services or out of your breach of these Terms.
